Cumming Group was hired by the University to provide cost estimating services for the 25,4000-sq.-ft. expansion and renovation of the H.H. Chao Comprehensive Digestive Disease Center, which is the only facility in Orange County to provide state-of-the-art care to patients with digestive diseases. The project incorporated a variety of replacements, upgrades, renovations, and additions, including new procedure rooms for endoscopy services, multi-specialty exam rooms, 17 prep and recovery spaces, the latest technology for diagnosing and treating digestive diseases, associated office and support space, a new lobby and waiting area, and more. The project was completed in late 2017.
