The Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina is home to the US News and World Report’s#1 ranked public university international business program. Slated to meet Net Zero Energy status and achieve LEED Platinum certification, this facility won the South Carolina USGBC 2014 Leadership in Green Building Award. The 252,000-sq.-ft. building houses the Darla Moore School of Business and portions of the University of South Carolina School of Music. This project was built on a main traffic thoroughfare in Columbia, South Carolina’s downtown area in the middle of the state capital, the University of South Carolina, and a major trucking route. It features natural lighting and a courtyard space that allows for fluidity in meeting spaces and access to the public and the music school. Equipped in the most advanced interactive spaces for instruction and connectivity, this facility is designed as an international hub for innovation.
