The new Buist Academy is located on the same site where the original school was constructed in 1921. The existing 1921 Building will be renovated, and a 68,000-sq.-ft. addition will be added to accommodate 500 K-8th graders. Totaling 89,000 sq. ft., the building will have 27 teaching stations with science labs, resource rooms, art and music rooms, a state-of-the-art media center, and a full-size gymnasium.
