Embassy Suites occupies 30 stories and has 506 keys, while 1 Hotel occupies 18 stories with 215 keys. The Cumming team worked diligently to ensure the building is LEED Silver certified, aligning design decisions with the owner’s commitment to sustainability. The project included highly efficient indoor plumbing fixtures that will reduce water consumption by 35% over the baseline, which is equivalent to almost five million gallons of water per year. With smart design lighting systems, increased insulation, ENERGY STAR equipment, and ongoing monitoring of building operations, this project is designed to save 23% on annual energy costs — an estimated savings of over $213,000 per year. The Cumming team has provided project management services throughout design development and construction. The project was completed in 2022.
