Cumming Group was hired to provide both cost and project management to the new build Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort. The 349-room resort sits on a five-acre site between Johnson and Michigan streets. The 18-story resort spanning 845,000 square feet includes a 1,056-space parking garage, public parking spaces, convention and ballroom space, retail stores, restaurants, a full-service spa, a dual-lane wave rider, and other amenities. Plans also included a 1,600-sq.-ft. bar and grill on the Intracoastal Waterway featuring dock space for boat access and water taxis. The project was completed during the summer of 2015 at a cost of more than $180 million.
