BP Lower 48 Headquarters, Denver, CO

The BP America Production Company (BP) recently undertook a new headquarters project in Denver. The project, which is currently seeking LEED certification, included the design and construction of a sleek and sophisticated corporate headquarters space located at 1700 Platte Street. BP has relocated more than 200 employees from Houston, Texas to this new flagship facility, which includes 143,134 square feet of rentable space on floors 1, 3, 4, and 5.

The building features high-end finishes, including marble and Teknion demountable office systems. The facility also incorporates extensive audio/visual and security systems, including a 60-foot media wall, a 53-foot live edge unity table, and biometric readers for executive suites. The building’s core and shell were developed by Trammel Crow, designed by Tryba Architects, and built by Saunders Construction.
